Question : Output cachegrind files about crabgrind HOT 2 CLOSED

Hey! By default, Valgrind starts instrumenting the program right from its entry point. You can alter this behavior via tool-specific command-line option:

For callgrind, --collect-atstart=no.
For cachegrind, --instr-at-start=no.

Specifying this will disable automatic sampling, so toggling it manually at the interest points should give you isolated measurements:

For callgrind, callgrind::toggle_collect
For cachegrind, cachegrind::start_instrumentation / cachegrind::stop_instrumentation

Yes, the solution was to get rid off cargo-valgrind and use valgrind itself instead ^^
