I think we can probably do something like this when the React scaffold gets up and running @bengreeley @magnificode
from theme-scaffold.
I'm absolutely in favor of making it easier for us to create comprehensive component libraries for our projects.
I'm curious about the overhead that this would add to a project. My main concern is additional time that something like this would add to a project, and how we can justify that with regards to the budget. If the overhead time is significant, we may have trouble navigating this conversations with Accounts.
However, the justification of future time saved by having a comprehensive component library that reduces ramp up time, gives us more accurate estimates, and makes it easy for us to establish new, or leverage existing components may outweigh the initial overhead.
Just playing a bit of devils advocate here, and want to frame out how we'd have this conversation with other disciplines.
