Meta imports could be a problem. They are currently added at the top of scene files by a custom transformer.

This is unfortunately impossible since there's no way to tell if a change in the component has influenced the timing/duration of a scene. The current implementation does reload individual components but it recalculates the scene anyway.

I guess if the scene can read from properties imperatively all bets are off. The scene could do anything with that information.
